President Javier Milei has summoned the governors of Juntos por el Cambio to discuss the 2025 Budget on Thursday at noon, prior to the debate in Congress. After talking with the provincial governors from the North and securing their support, he is now seeking to approach the dialogists with whom he initially started negotiations.

Among those summoned are Jorge Macri (CABA), Leandro Zdero (Chaco), Ignacio “Nacho” Torres (Chubut), and Rogelio Frigerio (Entre Ríos). The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at noon at Casa Rosada, with the presence of the Chief of Staff Guillermo Francos, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Interior Lisandro Catalán, and the Secretary General of the Presidency Karina Milei. This team previously hosted Gustavo Sáenz (Salta), Hugo Passalacqua (Misiones), Raúl Jalil (Catamarca), and Osvaldo Jaldo (Tucumán) at the Olivos estate.

The Executive Power seeks to advance negotiations with the governors, who play a key role as they must guarantee their allocations for the upcoming year, in line with the agreements they are trying to close with the dialogist blocs of the Chamber of Deputies to approve the 2025 Budget in a session scheduled for late November.

The strategy consists of concluding the informational meetings on Wednesday, November 6, issuing a statement on Tuesday, November 12, and holding a session on the 26th or 27th of the next month, so that the Senate can approve the budget during the extraordinary period. The only requirement of the Government for making changes is to maintain its policy of fiscal surplus from primary spending.
